Sometimes the burrs and stickers are beyond successful. This young horse had obviously been browsing among some gnarly sticker-filled brush. The large cockleburs, like these, are a nuisance but the horses eventually remove and/or lose them.
This flashy horse has acquired quite a collection of stickers and burrs.
