A mare emerges from the trees to reveal her flashy newborn filly. As with any birth, there is veiled concern for the vitality of the baby. The first two foals born this year, thankfully, are strong and healthy. These are exciting days, filled with the promise of many introductions and hours of foal-watching to come.
